Birth Control Tips

The dictionary defines birth control as “a regimen of one or more actions, devices, or medications followed in order to deliberately prevent or reduce the likelihood of a woman becoming pregnant.” Birth control has become imperative in today’s world, due to the global rise in population, need for family planning and also to safeguard oneself from unwanted pregnancy.

Currently there are millions of children in the world that were unwanted as babies that were given up for adoption to local shelters. Every year there are tons and tons of abortions performed by doctors for women that had unwanted and unplanned pregnancies. Our personal opinion on these topics is irrelevant but the point that we want to make is that these hardships could have been avoided if the right precautions had been taken. We speak of course about birth control. Centuries ago there were no real ways for a woman or a couple to prevent them from getting pregnant. Every time the made love they rolled the dice and if it resulted in pregnancy then so be it. As time went on there were devices and methods that were developed to assist in preventing a baby from resulting after sex. Lots of these procedures and devices were based off of incorrect information and old wives tales but the others were based off of pure science.
